This Privacy Policy applies to the browser extension "Real-time Chinese translation of video" (Chinese name: 视频中文实时翻译; brand name: Gui Yi Tong / 桂译通, "we", "us", or "our"), which provides video speech recognition and Chinese translation subtitle services. This Privacy Policy explains how the extension, purchase pages, and related backend services collect, use, store, and protect data. References to "Gui Yi Tong" in this policy refer to this extension.
1. Data We Collect or Process

In Firefox, technical and interaction statistics are optional data permissions. If the user does not grant that optional permission, the extension will not send this anonymous telemetry. Transmission of website content that is necessary for speech recognition and translation occurs only after the user actively starts recognition.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect government ID numbers, bank card numbers, credit card numbers, health information, precise GPS coordinates, or contact lists.
- We do not store full page URLs, video titles, account credentials, form input contents, or browser history lists.
- We do not retain original public IP addresses long term. IP addresses are used only for security rate limiting and approximate region detection for the current request.
- We do not use recognized text, translated text, or video audio for advertising profiles, and we do not sell such data to third parties.
3. How Data Is Processed
When the user clicks the extension icon and starts recognition, the extension captures audio from the current tab or current video and sends it through a signed connection to Tencent Cloud real-time speech recognition. Recognition results may be sent to our backend server, which calls a translation service to generate Chinese translation text. The extension does not capture audio unless the user actively starts recognition.
Anonymous statistics events may be sent to our backend server to understand active usage, regional distribution, browser environment, and errors. These statistics do not include subtitle content, full URLs, or IP addresses.
4. Third-Party Services
To provide the product features, we may use the following service providers:
- Tencent Cloud real-time speech recognition, which processes audio from the current tab or video after the user actively starts recognition.
- DeepSeek or other translation model services, which process text to be translated and return Chinese translation text.
- ZPAY, YunGouOS, Alipay, WeChat Pay, or other payment services, which process QR-code payments and payment result notifications.
We transmit data to service providers only to the extent necessary to provide the features above. We do not sell user data, and we do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
5. Local Storage
The extension uses local browser extension storage to save user settings, such as language, subtitle window position and size, opacity, font size, anonymous device ID, license key, and recent prompt state. This data is used to restore user preferences, validate membership, and calculate free quota.
6. Data Retention
- Anonymous statistics data is retained for trend analysis and troubleshooting, and will be deleted or archived when it is no longer needed.
- Membership, order, and license binding data is retained for the service period and for the time needed to handle refund disputes, financial reconciliation, and security review.
- User feedback is retained until the issue is handled and for a reasonable product improvement cycle.
7. User Choices and Rights
- Users may choose not to start the extension. When recognition is not started, the extension does not capture audio from the current tab or current video.
- Users may uninstall the extension from the browser extension management page, or clear configuration and license keys stored in local browser storage.
- To request access, deletion, or correction of data related to membership orders, device binding, or feedback, please contact us at the email address below.
8. Security Measures
We transmit data over HTTPS. Server secrets are stored only in server-side environment variables. The admin dashboard requires a password/token. Order files, license binding files, and statistics files are not committed to public code repositories.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this policy due to feature, legal, or compliance changes. For material changes, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of the service means that the user has notice of the updated policy.

本隐私政策适用于名为“视频中文实时翻译”（英文名 Real-time Chinese translation of video，品牌名“桂译通”，下称“我们”）的浏览器扩展。该扩展提供视频语音识别与中文翻译字幕服务。本政策说明该扩展、官网购买页及相关后端服务会如何收集、使用、存储和保护数据。本政策中的“桂译通”均指该扩展。

在 Firefox 中，技术和交互统计属于可选数据权限；如果用户未授予该权限，扩展不会发送这类匿名统计事件。为提供语音识别和翻译功能所必需的网站内容传输，仅会在用户主动启动识别后发生。
2. 我们不会收集的数据
- 不会收集身份证号、银行卡号、信用卡号、医疗健康信息、精确 GPS 坐标或通讯录。
- 不会保存完整页面 URL、视频标题、账号信息、表单输入内容或浏览器历史列表。
- 不会长期保存原始公网 IP 地址；IP 仅用于当次请求的安全限流和粗略地区判断。
- 不会把识别文本、翻译文本或视频音频用于广告画像或出售给第三方。
3. 数据如何被处理
当用户点击扩展图标并启动识别后，扩展会捕获当前标签页或当前视频的音频，并通过已签名连接提交给腾讯云实时语音识别服务；识别结果会发送到我们的后端，由后端调用翻译服务生成中文译文。扩展不会在用户未主动启动时捕获音频。
匿名统计事件会发送到我们的后端，用于了解活跃量、地区分布、浏览器环境和错误情况。统计记录不包含字幕内容、完整 URL 或 IP 地址。
4. 第三方服务
为实现产品功能，我们可能使用以下服务提供商：
- 腾讯云实时语音识别：处理用户主动启动识别后的当前标签页音频。
- DeepSeek 或其它翻译模型服务：处理待翻译文本并返回中文译文。
- ZPAY、YunGouOS、支付宝、微信支付等支付服务：处理扫码支付和支付结果通知。
我们仅在实现上述功能所必需的范围内向服务提供商传输数据。我们不会出售用户数据，也不会为了与产品单一用途无关的目的使用或转移用户数据。
5. 本地存储
扩展会使用浏览器扩展本地存储保存用户设置，例如语种、字幕窗口位置和大小、透明度、字号、匿名设备 ID、会员卡密和最近提示状态。这些数据用于恢复用户设置、会员校验和免费额度统计。
6. 数据保存期限
- 匿名统计数据会保存用于趋势分析和问题排查，我们会在不再需要时删除或归档。
- 会员、订单和卡密绑定数据会在服务有效期、退款争议处理、财务核对和安全审计所需期间保存。
- 用户反馈会保存到问题处理完成及合理的产品改进周期。
7. 用户选择和权利
- 用户可以不启动扩展；未启动时扩展不会捕获当前标签页或当前视频的音频。
- 用户可以在浏览器扩展管理页卸载扩展，或清除浏览器本地存储中的配置和会员卡密。

8. 安全措施
